Why Umbrellas?

What do you do with your broken / malfunctioning umbrellas? We are collaborating with St. James' Settlement Jockey Club Upcycling Centre to recycle them. The umbrellas will be upcycled to a new product - Upcycled Short Umbrella Bag, which keeps you plastic free in rainy days!

St. James' Settlement Jockey Club Upcycling Centre supports material recycling / processing and production. All the cut & sew procedures take place at the center and are completed by the center members with the assistance of their sewing masters.

  1. Accept all types of umbrellas with umbrella cloth.
  2. Umbrellas with plastic cover are not accepted.
  3. Be considerate, please clean the umbrellas before submission.
