The Chief Project, their mission is to create a Hong Kong with zero waste. 

The Chief Project handkerchiefs are all handmade in Hong Kong. Not only are they committed to lessening waste, they also believe in reinvesting in Hong Kong’s future. they strongly believe in reinvigorating our economy by manufacturing right here in Hong Kong instead of outsourcing labour to other countries. After carefully sourcing their fabrics, they employ local expert seamstresses to make our handkerchiefs. 

After Hong Kong became a financial hub instead of a manufacturing city, many skilled workers struggled to find employment in different sectors. And they believe that even though it is more expensive to manufacture here than for example China, that this is the right thing to do. Their sewing partners’ enthusiasm, drive, and professionalism is reflected in the quality of their handkerchiefs and they couldn’t be happier. Their production line is close to home, local, and 100% Hong Kong. This way, they can make sure our handkerchiefs are produced ethically and safely too!
Plastic wrap paper is a good kitchen tool. It can block moisture ingress foods and prevent air contact with foods so as to ensure the food quality. However, plastic wrap can only be used once and then it will be abandoned. Beewax Wrap is one of the best choices for environmental protection as it can be reused after wash.

【How to use?】

  1. Cover the container with the beewax wrap
  2. Press along the edge of the container with hands to release extra air. The hand temperature will facilitate the beewax to melt a bit and stick with the container.
  3. Leave the hands off from the container and it is done.


【How to clean?】

  • Clean the beeswax cloth with water only and sponge. Do not apply detergent.
  • Do not soak it for long or twist it. Use a towel to clean the Beewax and absorb excess water. Then, air dry it.
  • As long as it is handled properly, the beeswax cloth is very durable and lasts around 2 years.

【How to Store & maintain?】
  • Put it in a dry place.
  • Avoid direct sunlight.
  • Avoid carrying hot food.
  • If the adhesiveness goes down, slightly heat the Beewax Wrap to distribute the beewax evenly on the cloth.
  • If most of the beewax on the cloth is already consumed, apply a layer of melted beewax on the cloth. Reuse it after it is air-dried.
