Coffee NEXT | Coffee Grounds Mushroom Substrate Based Fully Fermented Compost (40L)

Hong Kong produces tons of coffee grounds every day. If they are directly disposed of in landfills, it will cause a waste of resources. The "Zero Grounds Coffee Campaign" planned by our social enterprise "Green Ranger" since 2015 is committed to recycling local coffee grounds and upgrading them into different products.

"Coffee NEXT Coffee Ground Mushroom Bag Regenerated Compost" implements the concept of upcycling local organic waste. The material is fermented from mushroom bags grown in mushrooms, and the material of the mushroom bag comes from local recycled organic matter (~80% coffee grounds, wood chips, etc.) , after a long period of fermentation, it becomes an efficient and environmentally friendly compost, making good use of the nutrients of organic resources many times to form an ecological cycle of mushroom bag composting. Recycling, sorting, and processing are all handled and produced in local factories in Hong Kong to reduce carbon emissions. The production process involves more than 10 processes and undergoes multiple fermentations in different forms.

This nitrogen-containing, slightly alkaline natural compost can not only adjust the pH, but also effectively promote the growth of plant stems and leaves. The compost contains more than 80% organic matter, ✅increase soil fertility, ✅increase hydrophobicity, ✅easier to store And release water and ✅prevent soil erosion, etc., providing plant lovers with a more environmentally friendly choice with quality advantages.
